Spotify Script

First Radio Advert Script
The problem that I had with my script was that it was not long enough. The first script was only 10 seconds long so I added a extra bit for the main lead to say that gave more detail into the product. Also instead of using one track for seven seconds, i felt as though the audience needed a taster of different things to keep them interested so i tried merging three tracks together which went pretty well. This extended the advert for another ten seconds making it a reasonable length advert for the product that i was trying to get people interested in and want to listen to the advert.

Client Description

The Spotify Company is a commercial music streaming service providing digital rights  I have recently joined the marketing team for this company. They have assigned me with the task of coming up with a new radio advertisement without stipulating what the budget will be and giving full creative control over to me, so that i am able to show my full potential to the clients so that i can keep working for he company.

I aim to hit quite a broad audience as the advert I will produce will not be specifically aimed towards any certain age or gender. As the idea is to broadcast a message that will reach the largest number of people possible. Mass marketing has been focused on radio because it is easy for the medium used to reach this broad audience. I will do this by using certain songs and celebrity endorsement  that do no sway towards one certain demographic. For example I could no play ladies night because that swings towards a female demographic more that male. With this broad audience there are more possibilities available for me to create a professional advert.

The USP for Spotify is that they have associated their product with having a all types of music. I will utilize this by using current music and making the advert a happy experience for the audience listening in. This can also be done by having good voice overs with enthusiastic and soothing voices to keep the audience relaxed and in the mood for buying the product.
